A few steps from the water’s edge, the cottage sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms, and has the most sublime sea views! With reverse level living, the full width suntrap roof terrace, garden & all upstairs windows have sea views. You can lounge in the garden, paddle to the pub on the kayaks, or relax on the comfy outdoor sofas with a glass of chilled wine while the bbq is sizzling in the background. There’s even a pool table, table tennis and wifi/own Netflix account if you fancy a change from the view.

From the sun trap roof terrace, you can enjoy the most wonderful views of the estuary and Point Quay. The Quay is a haven for children and adults alike. You can swim in the sea or go crabbing. It’s ideal for kayaking and paddleboarding (4 kayaks available at the house), and it’s the start of some fabulous scenic walks and bike rides.

The cottage is the end one in a terrace of 3 traditional Cornish cottages built in 1860 and is a designated World Heritage Site and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, located 50m from the sea, opposite the village orchard with the village green at the rear.

3 welcoming pubs nearby, local shop 5 min drive, Truro/Falmouth 15 mins drive. Ideally located to explore the beaches on the north and south coasts.

About the cottage

★★★★★ This is a very special place. The house is beautiful with the most stunning aspect across the estuary, peace and tranquility

The cottage has an upside down layout to take advantage of the wonderful estuary views. The terraced garden has magnificent panoramic views and a range of seating areas to soak in the sights and sounds of the ever changing tides.

From the front door, you enter into the porch, and then into the hall with 4 bedrooms off this.
– Bedroom 1 with kingsize bed
– Bedroom 2 with a super kingsize bed, and en-suite WC & shower
– Bedroom 3 with 2 twin beds
– Bedroom 4 with 2 interconnecting single bed rooms
The family bathroom with bath, over bath shower and WC is at the end of the hall.

★★★★★ An amazing house with everything needed for all occasions. We loved the beautiful location near the water, with use of the paddle board and kayaks.

Up the stairs you’ll find the long living room with sea views from all windows. There are 2 super comfy sofas, armchairs, 50 inch smart TV with Netflix, Superfast 70 Mb/s wifi, Sonos sound system and a pool table that also has a table tennis top.

There’s an office with a 32 inch smart TV, if you need an additional space to entertain the kids/teens in the evenings.

The front room leads through to the kitchen with 110cm Electric Rangemaster cooker with 2 ovens and separate grill, coffee machine and milk frother, full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, and all the kitchen appliances you’ll need. There’s an upstairs WC too.

The kitchen leads through to the dining room, and then through to the roof terrace with tables for outdoor feasts and sofas for lapping in the view . There are also views to the lovely terraced garden.

The garden has a Weber BBQ and a selection of seating for lazy reads in the sun.

There’s also a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier.

There’s parking outside for 2 cars and around the corner for more if needed.

Other things to note

Well behaved dogs (max 2) are welcome and must be mentioned prior to booking. Please keep them off the soft furnishings and beds.
