The three of us spent a week in the great very tastefully furnished cottage. It’s just as beautifully depicted and described in the photos. It is located at the estuary and was perfect for us to explore Cornwall. Numerous valuable tips are available directly from the hosts.
Brilliant location with a very short walk into the centre of Marazion for food, drinks and of course the mount. Cottage was wonderfully equipped, finished and furnished. Very comfortable stay and seeing the sea and mount from the bedroom window every morning was awesome! Having a private off road parking space in Marazion is a blessing.
Beautiful home and peaceful surroundings. A place you can breathe and enjoy time with friends and family. Superb hosts, thoughtful and excellent communication. My teen children, swam, kayaked, jumped off the quay, paddle boarded….. and most importantly stayed off their phones!!
Probably the most beautiful place we’ve stayed in the UK. Point is so peaceful and friendly and lots to do – on foot, by paddle board or in the car. Nic was so helpful and sent loads of helpful info and the pack inside the cottage had brilliant recommendations for food and day trips.

Who manages Airbnb properties in Cornwall for higher-end homes?
Secret Lux manages a deliberately small portfolio of distinctive Cornwall holiday lets — coastal properties, waterside homes, period houses and architecturally interesting spaces. We are selective about which properties we take on, which means every owner in our portfolio gets our full attention. If your Cornwall property is exceptional, we’d love to hear from you.
Do you handle all guest communication?
We do. From the moment they get in touch, we’re here to quickly answer any questions about your home, the local area and what’s on when they’re visiting.
We’ll be in contact with them leading up to their arrival to whisper local secrets, recommend our favourite scenic walks and eateries, and give them tips on wonderful experiences nearby.
Then we’ll make sure they have settled in well and will be on hand during their stay to ensure they have a wonderful holiday.
Do you look after cleaning and maintenance?
We have a network of trusted housekeepers, cleaners and maintenance teams. We inform them of all bookings on your behalf, but leave you to pay their invoices to avoid those unwanted agency mark up fees.
How do I organise my own stays?
You’re the boss here. We don’t have minimum availability requirements like traditional agencies, and you can block off dates directly in your calendar, or of course you can just ask us to do it for you.
When and how do I get paid?
Payments are made a day after the guest checks in, which usually takes another 3 days or so to hit your account. Our commission fee is deducted from this amount and paid directly to us at the same time, so you don’t need to worry about making extra payments or yet another direct debit to keep an eye on.
I’m tied into a contract – can you still help?
We can indeed! Get in touch and we’ll explain how you can move to us without breaking contractual agreements or being out of pocket for any early exit fees.
